Original Poem- Liquid Life

an unhealthy woman markets cookies and pizza
for a pint of my life energy.

It would be drained into a plastic bag and preserved in a freezer
they way we keep cheap frozen foods at the grocery store
Organized by type in long isles with signs that all match.

I imagine the flow would increase
with my heartbeat in a visual rhythm, also audible
in the contact of the blood with the bag.

The strength of blood is not so easily seen
on the side of a camper van
